I get this but some of these schools are relevant to this day because of their pre-integration success. Why else would elite athletes continue to go to schools like Oklahoma and Notre Dame over the generations? Because of the clout they built in the days of leather helmets.
I said this a few posts back. Texas is the most overrated program in the sport. Tennessee has a much stronger case.
Like I mentioned above, I think the cut off on that list should be below USC because of longevity and the number of titles.
