The plastic piece  in the sole squeaks because there is a compression piece that flexes and keeps the Nike+ in there.  Take a flat object and the inner plastic piece will pop out.  Re-insert the foam filler and place the insole back in again.  Without two pieces of plastic rubbing against one...
