Fyi the Air Trainer 1 Arts Rec is made in Vietnam (does it mean a better quality ?). It's the first time it happens. Until now all reissues of Air Trainer 1 since 2000 were made in Indonesia.

Totally true, same here with the ATC II. Nike did a great job with the materials and the shape, they don't intend to sell few thousands of pairs. Just be patient.

For me, you have to wait. Nike did a good job on this retro with this great shape and they know it. They surely don't intend to sell only a few thousand of pairs. The first limited launch is to create the hype/demand.

I have never seen this grass model before, surely a PE (Player Edition) model. Same insole as the one used by André Agassi on clay (insole from the '87 Air Wimbledon AC)

What is encouraging is that Nike is making efforts to have a shape as close as the original one. This hot lava version is by far the best retro in term of shape.

Indeed. @nike. Please remake this special edition of Air Trainer 1 made for McEnroe. Mac played with this version during Roland Garros tournament in late 80's. White mesh instead of leather. Ideal for spring/summer. Never been released before. I think the right time is coming now..
