I've worn mine pretty heavily and your take is spot on Wally. No paint chipping, no creasing either though. If you can find a pr on sale, you're good. Cop'em and wear'em.

I tried on a 12.5 but they were hella snug lol. If others are saying it goes away then maybe there's hope. Overall a solid shoe so lets hope.

Enh, some of the non-OG colorways are bastardization at its finest. To each his own for sure.
