Completely agree. The West in the playoffs wasn’t the West at its best, but it doesn’t take anything away from how great the Knicks have been this playoffs.
All the top West teams had injuries in the playoffs. No Luka for the Lakers, Wolves were hobbled, Denver had no Gordon or Watson, Thunder with no J Dubb and even for the Spurs, Fox has had injury issues.
That’s the main reason the West wasn’t a “gauntlet”.

Experience doesn’t matter when a team has a significant talent advantage over who they’re playing, but if it’s an even match-up, experience is important.
Castle is a great player and does a lot of things well, but he’s not a point guard. Having him be the primary offense initiator when Fox or Harper (or both) are out there with him is just silly.
