I like the rose petals hidden under the outer layer, but the actual rosebud graphics and vine on the top layer don't look great. I am guessing/hoping those bud graphics are just for this one specific color. Otherwise, I like the model. It looks like great options for colorblocking and a nice...
I totally agree. PEs look so much better when they match the actual jerseys/team colors. Practically every new shoe now is a contest over the most clashing/mismatched colors, even the majority of the retail releases. They just look dumb.
Those McDonald's pairs look GREAT but I've never thought mismatched shoes look good. Here's hoping they release more white-based options with the colored overlays. They're very clean and the honeycomb-like material looks great with the white peeking-out behind the color.
First of all, they're athletic performance shoes. It does make sense to wear them to, you know, a gym. That's a very odd and misplaced criticism.
Second, I expected these to "gain" the cracked paint after wear, but I was a little disappointed to see them arrive that way with the cracks and...
Agreed, for most it isn't necessary. For me, though, I've been needing to do that for adidas lately (I also went 1/2 down with the AE 1) because they seem to make their toes a little roomier vertically and laterally. In my TTS, with adidas, my toes can wiggle up and down which usually causes me...
They're EXCELLENT court shoes. Going 1/2 size down, they have great lockdown and great traction, both of which are my two biggest needs by far for basketball shoes. They're not at all clunky to me, but my golden age is early 2000s Nike basketball, so stuff like weight/clunkiness is never really...
Has anyone seen the newest all star/sunshine versions (the ones with the all star embroidery on the tongue and the black midsole - not the recent release with the gray midsole?) The yellow looks darker, which I am all for, but I'm curious if they are actually darker in person or if that is just...
I'm expecting to get hated on since they're not "real" Chicagos, but while Nike's "SPRING" promo code sale is happening, you can buy the dune red I lows, and with some black Angelus paint you can turn them into a Chicago low of sorts for only about $70.
Yes, I know the color blocking is not the...
I guess adidas doesn't want my money. For the white version that released this morning, they are forcing you to place an order through the app. Even though I have had no issues with my account info ordering through adidas.com, the app seems to think my address is invalid. After multiple tries...
I am also a 12 in basically every Nike/Jordan shoe I have ever worn for court shoes (which is A TON of them)... I went down to 11.5 in both the mids and the lows and they fit much better. The length difference wasn't even noticeable for me, but the lockdown/toe room laterally was significantly...
Aside from the TB and the white/black GR, all of the shoes released have been in clashing, irregular, or pastel colors, and often times all three of those are at play. The colors aren't versatile for everyday wear.
KDs have often had that issue with the colors the past few years, too, but his...
I chatted adidas to specifically ask this question about returns and they assured me I could play in them to try them out and still return them so long as they didn't have any major "damage."
Here are the Marquette XXIIIs. I totally agree...the mascots look kind of dumb in general, but should be on the medial side at least instead of the lateral. They still look good, though!
