I'm a Mavericks fan and if we had a Draymond on our team we'd be competing night in and night out just due to his presence. In professional sports though, just because someone is a leader doesn't mean they aren't expendable. And it definitely doesn't mean they are the best player on the team.
I have not once disagreed with that. But that still doesn't mean he does more than Klay. I think Draymond is the heart of Golden State. He's just not better than the other 3 of the Big 4. That's a really good problem to have right now.
I love a good NBA discussion. And I understand Draymond resonates with the kiddos a bit and that's great. I love Draymond too. Every team needs a player like Draymond, but when this Warriors team breaks up, he'll probably be the first to go. I for one think that is a bad idea because he's...
This here. No need to take something personal if someone doesn't share your opinion. I do want to respectfully say in my humble opinion John Wall is not comparable to Steph Curry, but Curry is in a much nicer situation
Come on. That's a copout. It sounds like you're taking it personal for some reason. These are our opinions and I don't share that opinion that Draymond is the most valuable. A lot of people don't share that opinion. Being the best leader doesn't make you the most valuable on the team...
After Lebron and Kawhi, I'm not putting Draymond as the 3rd best player in the NBA. I can't do that. I think the Warriors have 3 other players better than him.
A lot of the offense goes through 3 and Ds. That's pretty much where the term swingman comes from. I think there is confusion that I'm knocking Draymond because I love Draymond, but he does not do more than Klay. And he's not as valuable as Curry and Durant.
Outside of this thread I've never heard anyone say Draymond was more valuable than Klay. He's always been referred to as the expendable of the 3 or 4 if you include Durant. I don't think any of them are expendable because if you break them up as they are now, they will fall behind the Spurs.
Klay on any given night can be just as good as Curry offensively. We've seen on plenty of occasions where he's been the best offensive player on the court. And we've seen when he's been the best defensive player on the court. Curry doesn't have to guard the Westbrooks of the world. Or the...
It's not a bad thing. Tony Allen is a DPOY. Klay does way more for the Warriors than any other player. Top to bottom. Any night he can turn into the best player in the NBA. Draymond can't. Curry can't. Durant can't.
