Really? As far back as 2007? You sure about that? Maybe you're talking about general replicas/counterfeit? I'm specifically referring to these unauthorized authentics. If they were around as far back as 2007 most people would know about them and these Chinese sites would have been selling them...
Wow, had no clue it was that many. Knew the 3's and 11's were being pushed hard, not the rest though. Great work of putting this list together truly appreciate this, I'm sure others will as well, you the man. I think there should be a seperate thread for a list like that, this way people can...
Does anyone have a list or know if one exists of all the retro J's that are currently being manufactured and sold as these "unauthorized authentics". This might help out a bit at least in narrowing down which pairs to scrutinize before purchasing online or trading with someone. Obviously this...
I'm in my early 30's and I agree with you these were definitely hot back then but more so in the Junior High school and younger level. Older teens in HS were into Tims, Dr. Martins, Air Max's depending on what circle of people you hung with. You also have to remember that back then we balled in...
where are you located? In NY my brother received a call at around 7pm for the Grape 5's, when we showed up and said we didn't realize they hold the raffle that late the manager said it was due to the courteous original winner calling in and canceling his pick up. But I'd say that's rare most...
Here's what I observed here in NY. The stores that sell releases early are the ones that usually mark them up to $200 plus. I've yet to see a mom n pop store that will sell on release date and have the shoes above MSRP. It seems that the ones that follow the release date rules aren't interested...
it's all good you bring up good points. not sure if there's a thread for this. wristband never made sense to me either bec like you said it's still time consuming and you still my get screwed with your size. Guaranteed tickets I kind of get bec even though you still have to camp it's a bit less...
lol People have been having a hard time flipping recent foams for $300. But I like his mentality, setting himself up for a huge disappointment :) Perhaps it will teach him a lesson for next time to leave sneakers for those who actually want them.
Have never done wristbands but from how it was explained to me is that it guarantees you entrance into the mall Sat. morning but it doesn't guarantee a size, you're simply guaranteed a pair since they give out wrist bands equivalent to the number of shoes they get. But I don't see the point...
Anything under $300 is a great price for these imo. I haven't checked on EBay (don't mess with Paypal) but on Craigslist here in NYC cheapest one I saw was $310 and as high as $380.
Highly doubt it. You might be able to get them on ebay or craigslist for close to $200 after the release date. But based on the info I gathered, all the stores expect them to be gone Sat morning. Modells has already given out all their pairs. Did you enter any raffles?
