    Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro "White/Cement" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

I think that we can all agree that this higher volume limited-release is much better than the prior lower volume limited releases.  Hopefully Nike follows this strategy with all future OG retros, especially the IV Bleds.  Higher production volume is a win-win for the consumer and Nike!

I would contact them.  It should have passed that stage by now.  Possibly waiting for an authorization on payment.

So what is the expected lifespan of the midsoles on these 2016 Jordan 4s?  I want to know if I can get by with one pair...

FYI, I called 5 mins. ago for size 11.5 and the CSR told me they have more than 10 left.  I didn't cop because they wanted to add CA sales tax.  I thought EB didn't charge CA sales tax, but I stand corrected.

Agreed.  It's probably a better idea to spend that money purchasing Nike stock.  Those shoe boxes take up a lot of space.

My guess is that this was a larger than normal restock due to the double-order glitch on release day.  Can you imagine how many shoes were shipped in error and later returned to inventory?

Yeah, that beats the guy who bought 16 on release day.  But the difference is that 100+ pairs is obviously a reseller. I wouldn't rule out NDC for a major restock.  The returns have to go somewhere.

Yeah, that's a big difference.  Hopefully the release day cancel-fest doesn't happen this time around...  Good luck all!

I checked out today too, but I also did on release day when they later cancelled my order.   Remember to check your order status throughout the day under "MOST RECENT ORDERS" of your "MY ACCOUNT" page.  Hopefully all orders go through but I wouldn't feel completely good about it until I receive...

What will you do if someone boasts that they copped their 17th pair later today?

I agree.  Anyone spending this much for sneakers should expect it.  I just inspected my new $80 Asics running shoes and they are flawless.  If Asics can do it at nearly a third of the price point, then certainly Nike could.

We can only speculate.  My guess is that something put pressure on that area of the shoe somewhere along the way between manufacture and shipping.

The federal minimum wage was $3.35 in the 80s.  It is now $7.25. So in terms of work hours, Js cost about the same now as they did in the 80s.

Yeah, my DS pair from NDC has this that's why I'm asking.  Is it on the right shoe too?  Mine is only on the right shoe.

Did you intentionally blur the pic to highlight the leather wrinkles at the corner?  Were these there DS or appeared after wearing?

I can understand keeping that many if the midsoles could last forever.  But they will all crumble eventually and there's nothing anyone can do to prevent it. I believe that I'll be able to wear my one pair fine until the midsoles crumble.  So in 15 years all of these shoes will be unwearable...

So a Taylor Swift discussion would be appropriate in this thread because there's no "Teenage Girls' Music" forum on Niketalk.com, correct?
