I thought the GR is a must cop (and I still cant get mine). The TN looks better and better esp with the matching midsole. Saw a pic on IG someone dyed the leather part to light brown which looks like the Todd Synder 990v3.

Another factor may very well be the batch/ year of the specific pair being made. I live in HK which is pretty humid. Some of my younger pairs crumbled before the offspring 576 which was 15+ yr old. I also hear a lot of sole separation etc from sneakerheads in Japan, which is even hotter in summer.

I have bought women and kids 990v4. The kids version are made in China while women version was made in US. Not sure for the youth version though.
