I placed an order through Nike last Monday, July 13, for the grey Peg37s. I got the shipping notice on Wednesday, July 15 (technically it was 12:15am Thurs). They showed up yesterday, July 20. So a 7 day turnaround for me
tc1990 said those were probably BB shoes, not running shoes, hence the $180 price. They do have the women’s watermelon AlphaFly back on the calendar for the end of August though
Edit: August 13, not end of August.
Face it, you need to live in Asia right now if you want to score any of the new...
Once I run out of Epic Reacts I may go for the NB Beacon, seems like a similar shoe - light and bouncy.
I’m interested in the Tempo Next% too. I think that will fill the void we’re lacking right now with the PegTurbo and ZF going away. I haven’t seen any specs on it yet though, hopefully it’s...
Right, venturing out to other brands might be a necessity now unfortunately. Looking at the Running Warehouse Nike shoe page, once the black Peg Turbo 2s run out, the only shoes listed that are less than 9.3oz are racing shoes.
But do you think the IR would work for you with 1oz less foam? Why does it have to be so heavy? The IR work for me too, but I get home after an easy 12miles thinking like I should’ve worn the lighter ER. It’s happened enough that I’m just going with the ER now. Plus I don’t need that rocker...
I’ve been reaching for my Epic Reacts (and stocking up on them) because the Infinity React is too heavy IMO. I use them strictly for easy paced runs on the road and the Epic Reacts to me have the perfect cushion. Infinity React has good cushioning as well but it’s almost 2oz heavier. I just...
Well one thing unrelated to the pandemic is this... f’ing STOP making my shoes heavier:
Peg36 8.9oz Sz 9 / Peg37 9.6oz Sz 9
ZFFK 8.4oz Size 9/ ZF3 8.9oz Sz 9
Epic React 7.8 oz Sz 9/Infinity React 9.6oz Sz 9
VFNXT 6.6oz Sz 9/AlphaFly 7.4oz Sz 9
Additionally, I live in the Midwest, meaning over...
I had the Eastbay AlphaFly page up and was sitting on it but then stupidly refreshed like 50 seconds before the drop and the page timed out. Then went to the Nike app and got through, carted and went to check out only to find I hadn’t updated my credit card which had expired in April, and then I...
That’s apparently what all of the sneaker hype sites are calling that CW we saw from the Nike Olympic uniform unveiling .
From sneaker news:
Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% “Watermelon”
Release Date: July 2nd, 2020
$250
Style Code: CI9925-100 (Men)/CZ1514-100 (Women)...
Eastbay showing that the “watermelon” AlphaFly colorway is a women’s model only drop tomorrow. Men’s model is in the Black and lime CW. That’s disappointing
On Eastbay I'm now seeing the "Nike NEXT%" model in "WHITE/HYPER VIOLET/WHITE/FLASH CRIMSON" now showing to be released on July 31 instead of the 2nd. There's also another "SPORT RED/WHITE/OBSIDIAN" colorway for that same date now, July 31. When you click on these the price for both is $180...
I recall a certain somebody on this thread referencing “peach mango” or something along those lines as a future VFN colorway. I’d have to search through the thread to find it
