This is true. Most are just average in longevity. I don't let that stop me from using them. I usually fill an atomizer with the frag I'm going to use so that I can refresh later. Works just fine.
For fruity scents I like Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, Profvmvm Roma, both have a lemon vibe to it. Chanel gets a creamy vanilla powdery vibe to it when it dries down. Profvmvm Roma is beastly in a good way the lemon sticks with you all day, I really like this one, @Baise split this one some...
I thought so too at first.
I think it's much better and much different to my nose now.
As a matter of fact, I wore it today and recieved a compliment from one of my coworkers. :D
I can't vouch for the D&G but Givenchy Pi was definitely in my heavy rotation a few Decembers ago. I still like it. It's definitely a cooler weather scent for me.
It's common with the niche fragrances. You just have to find the one you like. Don't let labels and tags sway you. There's a lot of good frags out there that are labeled unisex.
I like Oud Wood, Tobacco Vanile, and Italian Cypress. Not necessarily in that order. There are many other fragrances that I prefer over Tom Ford's Private Blend.
If you really like vanilla, definitely get in on that Herod split that @Baise is hosting. You'll be glad you did.
