agreed. they did the same with the xx8... release feb '13, then changed the release to oct '14 for the xx9. so really in 3 years, only 2 flagship aj releases. oh, and the xx9... meh.
i did contact them directly with proof of purchase and pictures... how did they respond? they wanted no part of it... and acted like it wasn't their responsibility. i have the transcripts even. and definitely NOT a no-questions asked policy. i had to go back to the footlocker where i...
not theory, brotha. what nike made me go through for the first pair...
@tatmantall: no offense man, but where should i post this recent info? the adi-rose thread? after feeling frustrated for quite some time, i finally found others who experienced what i have. i'm not trying to lash out on...
ah... so you wanna take that chance with your hard-earned money? apparently everyone's rich and has all the free time in the world... correct me if i'm wrong, but most jordan-buyers are working class just like me. people don't have the time or want to argue with stores to return shoes...
more reviews of the TRUTH!!!
and to top it off... here are more pics of the outsoles of my original xx8s... why? because they have the icy sole and you can see through them. first, there is the left shoe which outright RIPPED (the night it happened!). second and third are of the right shoe...
Watch out for that flightplate fellas... owned two pairs of XX8s-- the originals and Bel-Air SEs.
The black/volts RIPPED (left shoe) on me at 7 months and the Bel-Airs POPPED (right shoe) at 4 weeks. I played in these exclusively... I go hard in my games, but never to the point of abuse... ...
appreciate the thoughtful and empathetic response... thumbs up for that. perhaps jb should place a disclaimer on this particular shoe and recommend a break-in period of 3-4 hours... days, even? i dunno.
i said the same thing myself... now i'm going back to the store and probably getting a pair of retros. thought i was getting 'the best' there was to offer; now i know better. so much for ballin' in the latest technology!!
here they are... kinda hard to see, but the right forefoot zoomair bag is popped. you can see how the left shoe's forefoot cushioning portrudes out of the shoe a bit; while the right forefoot area is concave and sunken. again, this is just after 4 weeks!!! i included a pic of my original xx8s...
You have got to be kidding me!!! On my 2nd pair of XX8s... this time they are the Bel-Air SEs... understand that I primarily play ball in these and wear them on the street on occasion. Well tonight I just found my right shoe with a sunken forefoot outsole which could only mean a popped Zoom...
bought my xx8s on march 27th and the outsole ripped less than 7 months later:
was totally bummed after this happened... you could see it starting on the right shoe too. these were without a doubt the best j's i've ever played in. the court feel was second only to the original flightposites. ...
