Dude whatever you need to say to make yourself feel special. You and I are one of the few with both pairs and I get the logic here. Ours are limited, ours are $600, ours have to be better foam.
I know it’s the same lol. You could live in your fantasy world and keep pushing the narrative “oh...
Yes of course since I own a pair of 2017 elites and 2 pairs of fp’s. I can confirm that I do not notice a difference. Because it’s actually the same. If you don’t believe me ask cuan walker on ig and he’ll confirm what I’m telling you.
For the ones saying Flyprints are the best. The answer is no. I just confirmed with someone who has knowledge that the vapor Next % that are available to the public ARE the SAME ones that Kipchoge, Mo, and the other pro’s wore in LND 2019.
Why would they wear them if they weren’t the best is...
Love them! Agreed about the lockdown. Whole shoe feels sleeker and secured the foot better. At first I thought a little tight but stood up and noticed that vaporweave material is very nice.
I’m impressed! An all around beauty. Can’t wait to race in them. Already day dreaming about my race kit...
Wow great Wired article! I love the sort of “ins-and-outs” of how the shoe became to be.
Couple of interesting tidbits. 1) no mention of flyprints. Could be because they’re not as available to the masses as the general VF4% is. There was a mention to “elite” model. And how the Next% borrowed...
First I’ll say 1:11 is sweet HM time. Hope you go sub 1:10! GL!
Apologies for the long post below.
I’ve had VaporFly v1, v2, and elites. Also 2018 and 2019 versions of Flyprints. VaporFly Next% arrive today.
Here’s my take... for me (2:53 best marathoner). Nothing outstanding. I know my time...
I had mentioned I was running a marathon today so wasn’t able to try unfortunately.
I finish the race to a bunch of texts from frustrated friends who couldn’t get passed the error messages.
Also notice an order confirmed notification. My wife - who isn’t the most saavy when it comes to things...
What are the odds I’m running a marathon the same time these release? Would have to run a sub 2:30 to stand a chance lol. Hopefully someone can hold me down on these. Really want to wear them in Chicago for October.
Okay I’m simply stating a fact here. When they moved to the flyknit the big concern everyone had was if they’ll need to go a half size up for gen 1.
The answer ended up being no because gen 2’s fk was breathable and adapted quickly to your foot shape.
Whereas gen 1’s mesh was very roomy above...
I would say it’s many people’s opinion. I haven’t spoke to a runner who has said the flyknit version is less secure than the mesh gen 1’s.
It’s actually a fact not an opinion. I didn’t say one was better than the other.
