Wish they both dropped at 10AM since I don’t give a damn about the red pair. If the reds sell out (which they probably will).. it’ll just make it harder to get the black pair a half hour later.
VF Street’s in black look better than the crimsons imo.
Nike really ruined the crimson red c/w by inserting this red spray paint effect on the midsoles.
Thanks. I saw this after I did them. They look good, smell good! I was tad rough with the bristles of the brush but the material seems unfazed.
The brush is an older one with a straight handle. I’m happy with the results
On display a few months ago in Nike SoHo. The OG’s are just perfect! The black nyc pair is probably the most limited at the moment... but the OG colorway is beautiful and the breaking 2 team put the most thought into the color balance.
I only say that because I don’t think any other pair has...
Those asking .. I never ran in the Elite’s. I like the 4%’s. I don’t think the difference in performance would be worth UN’DSing em.
Since they’re full sizes.. if you get the chance I’d go half size up.
Simply because if you’re racing in them your foot will inevitably swell up. Better to go...
Interesting video. Clearly the VF’s (4% and Elite’s) are superior to all other road racing shoes at this point. Adizero (Wilson Kipchang road shoe prototypes) are probably the closest competitor we’ll see to the VF’s.
React’s are probably not good running shoes. From what I’ve read / seen...
Thanks!
Negative.. I don’t even know how my foot would respond to these Elite’s. The cut is a little higher up the ankle. Personally I prefer a more lean/minimal design for racing.
I think I’ll stick with the 4%’s for 1/2M and full marathon races. Ice blue 4% I wore once. Crimson red 4% I...
I was able to have a big PR in my last marathon wearing the Crimson Red VF4%. I have two of the 4%s that I only wear for big races.
Also... Nike notified me NYC Marathon weekend via the app that I could pickup a pair of the Elite’s from their running store. They’re a work of art imo...
Earth Tones! These in hand pics give new perspective on them. The fact that they're not all platinum will definitely keep the hype down for these. I'm no expert on Flyknit Racers but these will probably be much easier to get than Blackouts. Nice catch!

Okay so Earth Tones not Platinums. Little bit different than the earlier promo shots but still great looking c/w. Props to Nike. I have a feeling they won't be very challenging to get now that they're "Earth Tones" :lol
