I haven't tried on a retro yet that was as good as the og is. the emerald diamond furies are the closest thing so far for comfort. those flat air bubbles are just a crime against shoemanity tho. would rather they put the effort into these that they did for the pressures and make them more...
not much of a trade off if they are so bad we hardly wear them hehe. I don't know the material either, but I doubt it will last as long or longer than the lifespan of the originals. im just sad that this is what we get that's all.
I blame the comfort on the whole midsole construction, not just the air units. I tried og insoles in the retros I had, it made no real difference. its just very poor craftsmanship proving that they just don't care, even a little bit, and we are the ones that suffer for it (literally, ouch).

it depends on the shoe. some are still solid and others require caution. all depends on the age and what materials its made out of. the flights above are ok for casual wear, like a restaurant or movie or something, but if you tried to ball in them they would more than likely be overstressed and...
if they still flex without showing stress cracks, they are ok to wear still. but I have many things that are unwearable now, so they remain on the shelf. you just have to take care of them and not abuse them or do anything extreme.
