oh, really? must have missed that post. hmm, how long ago was this purchase? looks like we're getting all sorts of results now from same sellers.
to me, the big give away that i notice now is the stitching (big thanks to those who took the time to upload their photos for comparisons). these...
it's funny that something really similar to this topic is going on in a car forum i'm in haha.

here's the thread if you guys want to take a look.
in summary- a vendor posted a "USDM limited edition" pair of tail lights of a highly...
this is an interesting thought. however, how do you explain the use of real carbon fiber on the 11's?
with everyone so focused into the earlier retro models, one thing that hasn't been brought up much is, how the shoe/tech of the shoe feel compared to RD models i.e. 11's, 12's, and 13's. these...
these are great photos phillie5o3.
problem is that vendors do not have many face up photos on their listings to compare i.e. straight shot of the toe box, sole, side profile, etc. everything is at an angle. whether it is for deceptive purposes or just to give the product photo more style, who...
consistency and quality are not their forte.
zyzz, the leather on your royals were stiff and not soft, correct? i tried looking back at your posts, but couldn't seem to find it (or if you even mentioned it. i swear you did).
the size of the wings and placement of the wings have been a tell-tale sign of replicas, variants, and fakes long before GM pairs existed. that is why people are going to be particular about it.
now, zyzz has said that his pair of "GM's" did not use the same leather as the RD pairs, and were...
not too sure about that because the pairs sellers use in photos (if they truly are a GM pair and not a RD pair they are using) are very close/accurate to my own RD pair when looking at comparisons.
someone else could have some better insight on this though.
seriously.
i want a pair just to hoop in.
zyzz, did your royals come with one of those chinese jordan wings tags? because those were alert signs of fakes i believe. i can't believe i read through this entire thread, lol. it was very informative in the end, however and i appreciate everyone...
looking at the photo of the bottom soles of the shoe, the royals look really small compared to the black toes and shadows. also the toe box of the shoe looks shorter and taller compared to the black toes and shadows. less of a "banana" shape that's been common in retros and more of a dunk hi shape.
