If you are thinking about hitting up a big, totally-worth-it fest this year...I'd say skip GABF and come to Denver for this:

This lineup is beyond bonkers, and they keep adding breweries to it.
Rolled up to Fort Collins this past Thursday to catch one of my all-time favorite singer/songwriters play...didn't have time to hit up the multitude of FoCo breweries, so instead the missus and I rolled over to Greeley on Friday on the way home. To hit WeldWerks for their Freshies Friday can...
WeldWerks up in Greeley, CO puts out some stellar beers, including some of the best NE-style IPAs and stouts in the country.
They've just started canning some of their stuff, which has made its way down to Denver in non-Crowler form for the first time. And the missus managed to grab a 4-pack of...
Love Epic's NE IPA. Really good. And that Los Locos is awesome too.
Yeah...Great Divide's bar service can be hit and miss.
And guessing the other brewery is Mockery? They make some really interesting beers...I like them a lot.
Nice! Upslope is literally right next door to my office. And I've never been disappointed in Fate's food, and their tap-only offerings are really great too.
Solid Epic pickups...although I always, always find their service to be terrible in their taproom. And how's that Great Divide?
In the other brewery-acquisition-of-the-day news...

This should be pretty great, especially Oud Beersel's involvement.
If you're in Glenwood Springs, definitely definitely hit up Casey Brewing & Blending in Glenwood. Their saisons, sours and wild stuff is the stuff of legend. Roaring Fork Beer Company in Carbondale isn't far from there...and I really like their stuff too.
Where in Colorado are you heading? Just Denver/Boulder area or up in the mountains too? Fort Collins is loaded with breweries too...let me know if you're headed there and I can help with recommendations too.
Boulder's alright...there are a couple good breweries (Upslope, Cellar West Artisan...
I've had a couple from local breweries here in CO and Sly Fox out of PA too. Very similar to a saison...saisons were originally farmhand's beers where grisettes were considered miner's beers.
This reminds me that I have a grisette from Green Bench in my fridge. Had it for awhile, so I'll have...
I hear Interboro is releasing a DDH variant of Stay Gold tomorrow. Any New Yorkers heading out to pick some up?
And anyone interested in trading a 4-pack of Odd13/WeldWerks/Fiction/Cerebral Robot Librarian (amazing hazy NE-style IPA from Colorado's best brewers of the style) for a 4-pack of...
Yesterday's pickup...one 4-pack of which is up for trade.
Like Voltron, Colorado's best hazy IPA brewers (Odd13, WeldWerks, Cerebral & Fiction) collab'ed again to brew Robot Librarian for a second batch. Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado & Galaxy made it a serious juice bomb.
Can release at each...
