Thanks guys...Trust me when I say I've tried every great guard shoe out there and the I' just continue to win. Kobe IV's are close (going to trythe V's when they get shipped to me). AJ XIV's are just as good as the Kobe I's..I think ya'll have seen my XIV's collectionthough.....

Ankle support has never been an issue due to the wide sole. I love the ZKI as much as much as my XIV's. ZK IV is in 3rd or 4th behind the Zoom BB I I stocked up when the hit 29.99

still my favorite out of the entire kobe line. Better traction than the IV's. Fit fine to me

they'll be fine. Midsoles are not made of the same stuff the older J's are made of. I have a lot of OG XIV's and they hold up just fine

none of these 3 of big on ankle support but of the 3, the kobe iii would be the best due to the outrigger

IMO there is more movement in the toe box with the Lites. Plus the lites are freakin stiff as a board.

Just a few more from 2006 or so..

I would go with the Strengths..I hated the Ultimates (and the lites for that matter). They had a very poor fit and the cushioning is minimal. Strength fitbetter and have more cushioning. I thought the Strengths fit true to size but that's just me. Look at my review on page 2 of all the ZK's.
