Did you get the retro XIV's? I'm not sure what they did different but the OG's are a lot better performance wise. The OG's aremore flexible and the cushioning is a tad softer. I don't wear the retro XIV's.I like my OG's

The bottoming out is painful..just very weird feeling. I'm sure the more I wear them, the more the lunar foam will wear down. I like the springiness ofthe IV's heel cushioning. That being said, I'll keep alternating btwn the ZKI and IV for awhile and pick a true winner eventually.

Shoes are good, not great performance wise. Looks wise, they are sweet. Traction is better than average but not as good as the ZKI. As far as bottoming out, I bottom out all the time especially on cuts side to side. My foot feels like it is touching the floor!

OG XIV's fit better but it really depends on your foot shape. If you have wider feet, go retro XIV. Traction on the ZK1 is BETTER than the XIV. Fit is different with the ZK1..I feel the XIV has a tighter fit but the ZK1 fits more like a sock..not overly constricting. I have over 15 pairs of...

ZK I doesn't play bulky at all. There is more cushioning feel to it than the ZKII. You can call some outlets to see if they have the ZK1 still. Ebay has a lot as well. Zoom BB will hit the outlets so why pay full retail now ?

Zoom Kobe I Better traction, better fit, better cushioning=better shoe! Plus for under 50 bucks. I switched from the XIV which, as seen in this pic, was my favorite. I play the same position as you do.

Yea I did this last year...it is an annual thing for me I have more than 2 or 3 of some shoes because they are my true favorites.
