Would have to agree with this. In my immediate area, there are 8-10 different retail locations that typically sell KDs, and sometimes "limited/premium" KDs. (HOH, FootLocker, Champs, Hibbitts, and City Gear to name a few.) But this year, the Aunt Pearl is only being released at 2 locations...

I don't understand the hate, for only wanting a shoe if they're limited?

I'll probably get blasted for saying so...but, I think the Floral has moved into #1 KD7 colorway for me.

APs might very well be general release, but I do know that there are two retailers here that got the APs last year...that wont be carrying them this year. So regardless of the actual production numbers...distribution might be a little different than in years past. Its only speculation right now...

Grabbed the AllStars for my 9 year old daughter. Only dissapointment is that the box was plain, and there wasn't really anything that differentiated the shoe from any others. In years past the AllStar boxes have typically been unique in some way. Either way, my daughter was very happy to get these.

I also just noticed that the florals are sold out on NDC, yet the other EXTs are still available. Is it typical? I mean, are they really "out of stock," or do they get more tomorrow, so on and so forth?

I grabbed a pair today at my local HOH. I'm pretty happy with the colorway/placement of the material. Another guy that was buying them in front if me didn't have much red on the front of the shoe. Not that it really matters...but I'm happy with how mine look.

KD wore a new 6 colorway that I had never seen before to start last nights game. (Orange/Red, and silver) And then at about mid first quarter he switched over to the grey/blue ones hes been wearing alot lately. (And then proceeded to go OFF)

Yes, it does appear to be a Pearl effect. I think there are a lot of times, that the pics that are leaked prior to release typically don't do a shoe justice. There are many that look much better in person, than even the official nike pictures as well. So, I'm pretty sure this AP will be solid...

You can speculate as much as you want, because there is obviously a reason he is still wearing the VIs. And your guess is as good as any. I was ridiculed somewhat at the notion, that the injury itself may have been caused by wearing the 7's. It seems ludicrous....but a "Jones fracture" is an...

And the black is a patton leather as well. Pretty dope PE for sure.

Understood. I'm not scared to speculate, and Im also not claiming it as fact. So, it was more or less an observation. But if 8-10 games from now, he is still wearing the VI's instead of the VII's, there might be something more there.

Ive seen him wearing 7s as well in shoot around, and warm ups. Sunday night he was wearing an alternate black PE of the 7 in OKC. I just still thought it was interesting to see him in the 6s tonight.

This might be reaching a bit, but the injury KD suffered is typically caused by the foot rolling up under itself, inside the shoe at the small toe. He was wearing the 7's when he was inured. Im not saying that there is a definate correlation there, but I think it's safe to say that he may be...

I'm thinkin some black PE's that are just a bit different than the general "away" release.
