LOL, I like some of their stuff but they do seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel with some of their vids. Can you play basketball in UBs and crap like that. Surprised they haven't done flip-flop reviews yet.
I had some Energy Boost 2s and sold them on eBay after a few runs. Too narrow and snug on the top of my foot unless I laced them loose. I have 2 pairs of the AdiZero Boosts which are a great shoe for speedwork and short runs. There's not much cushion so I have never done more than around 5...
LOL, the whole knit would unravel. I'm not a big fan of the sock opening but I'm used to it now. I find the uncaged much more comfortable than regular UBs so I make it work. You could always go with some sweet #ntdenim to hide it.
Anybody thinking of picking up the SNS DRose? I like yellow and grey but I generally don't wear bball shoes except when I am playing. $180 is a lot for a casual shoe.
Dusted off the AdiZero MCs for the first time in months. Still the ones out of all my Boost shoes that get people stopping me asking what they are and where they can get a pair.
Nah but I've read plenty of overoptimistic copy on websites, many not sneakerhead related, about the impact of the Parley shoes and what they mean for the industry. Realistically it means selling some $200 sneakers right now. Gimmick is probably the wrong word, but I have seen way too many...
Let's be clear that buying some high priced environmental sneaker is not saving the earth. If anything, us sneakerheads with dozens of pairs have no room to talk down to anyone about the environment. We could all get by with one or two pairs of shoes in life but we choose to have lots of them...
