I wear the same size in Kobes and UBs, though the UBs have a much tighter fit on the top of the foot. It bothers some people more than others, but you should be OK.
Yeah, I don't know how all these cats are sizing down on mesh NMDs. Those joints are tight af and have no give to them. TTS for the ones I've tried on and maybe .5 up if I wanted to wear them in the winter with thicker socks.
Just to be clear I wasn't talking about you in particular. It just seemed like this thread was full of people desperate for creams who were willing to pay a decent resell price, and then when they finally restocked, a bunch of them turned into retail or bust. As if creams were suddenly going...
Nah, it was a pain to get them and it took some luck. Getting Champs and FTL employees to give you the correct info was damn near impossible. But I picked up a pair from a local reseller at $210 and it took very little work because so many people were selling them. That was less than $20 more...
Yeah but you either want the shoe or you don't. If someone wasn't willing to pay more than $180 for creams, that's fine. Nothing wrong with #teamretail but I don't get all the complaining and second guessing down the road. So you wouldn't pay $250 then but you'll kill for a pair at $250 now...
It was an easy cop for anyone who wasn't willing to miss out over $20-40. Sure, there was a lot of speculation about a wider restock, but also plenty of NTers saying get them now while you can. If they weren't worth picking up at under $250 back then, I'm not sure why people are complaining now...
Yeah I noticed that all the pairs of interesting UBs and NMDs in the pics had a "Limited Availability" tag on them. So basically they just scrounged up a couple of pairs of each colorway so they could hype up the grand opening.
The clear blues in your pic are circular knit, not mesh. Those fit closer to PK sizing than mesh, and I size down on them as well. But they are different than most of the other mesh models, which are TTS based on the ones I've tried on.
Just like the CKs, the stripes seem to be heat bonded on there, so IMO there's no way you're getting them off without leaving behind noticeable damage to the fabric.
I don't think it's an awful price if you really want them now. You could get them closer to retail if you are patient and search for a deal, but you have to decide whether you'd rather just pay more cash and be done with it.
Yeah, I was just reading yesterday how the Curry 'Chef' was selling well and UA was ecstatic about how it spread through the media world. People were talking about the shoe even outside the sneakerhead community, and the feeling was that any publicity is good publicity. Given Adidas' tiny...
Bad idea or not, the fact remains that these are $200 shoes and some of the defects we are seeing here are terrible. Owners have every right to be pissed and share the problems online, and it's up to Adidas to do better.
