I saw patent Original Grands and the sole looked exactly like a regular LunarGrand albeit without the "Lunarlon" marking on the front tap. I believe some Grand.OS is CH licensed from Nike.
How'd that happen? Snagged on something? A shoe repair store would probably be your best bet. It doesn't look like something you can easily fix yourself.
Even so, the horween ones are still not of good quality. I saw some of those in-store and they don't look good. They're too shiny and plasticky.
Another thing to note, those have been on the site for a while now. They simply revised the product name and included "horween."
Yeah, it was one of the colorways during the first release of the combat boots. I got mine from CH.com. It indeed has some kind of texture to it.
I would say they're okay from a comfort standpoint. I'm not immensely impressed by the comfort of LunarGrands. Running shoe Lunarlons are still way...

Thanks to @ptballer for the codes.
Enjoy!
I think they've been using Horween all along but they're not using the best leathers that Horween has to offer (this is probably why they're not choosing to advertise it front and center). There are most probably different grades of leather.
If you guys notice some of the leather LunarGrands...

No idea about quality or if they're legit but bringing their address up on Google Maps shows a Belts.com office. lol
They usually have most of the latest LunarGrands on display. The store I posted the petrol blue photo from was the Century City, CA flagship store. They also had all 4 colors of lace up combat LunarGrand boots on display.
It might be worth giving them a call before you decide to drop by for a...
@Br1ju
I got mine for about $100-$110 early this year or late last year. They re-released the all black ones. Both the grey and black are nice. lol
The wren-camo one looks like an army-issued boot. Don't like the red part on the chestnut one.
The four current boots are all nubuck leather btw...
I have the taupe and the all black one. I've only worn the black one as of now. They're okay. Feels exactly the same as the low-cut ones but the combat boots keep your feet a bit warmer.
