Pcie 3/4 is backwards and forward compatible.
I'm not 100% but you'll probably be able to put a gen 3 in that expansion bay and use it as storage. It just won't be as fast for loading and the ps5 may not recognize it as being able to play next gen games from because the read/write speeds are...
Also noticed that the SSD bay is pretty accessible, pull off the panel and its right there. Now I have to start planning to spend another 200$ on storage.
Obviously you should be hooking up a console by wire if possible but the series x not having wifi 6 is kind of a big deal in my opinion. Anything less than wifi 6 is going to start to feel slower over the next few years.
Mainstream cards with support for ray tracing have only really been around since last summer. Even with PC games it’s a fairly newly used technology, maybe 2 years.
It’s cool that a lot of the ps5 games shown off seem to already use ray tracing to some extent.
I was thinking the same. Part 1 was my favourite game from last gen although I haven't played it since.
Should be able to get through the remastered in a month.
Oh true, I didn't realize they we're releasing so close to each other.
I doubt the leak had anything to do with the new date coming out today. They delayed it a few weeks back, probably just needed to time to sort out production for physical copies.
