Definitely agree with this also, allocations seem to be up there and local stores that used to get 12 pairs are getting 24-48 in some cases. Keep seeing a lot of posts of FB pages saying these Chicago's will be out in there in numbers similar to Laser 1's....we can only hope I guess.

Exactly, this whole conversation about this Early Release pair being real or fake is getting old.  I look at it this way, If it doesn't come with a receipt or some proof of purchase where it originally came from, I don't want it.  I don't want to feel like I have to begin questioning my shoes so...

ahhh okay, understandable. Luckily for me, I'm in a small area in Upstate NY that is just big enough to get some good releases but not too big that its impossible to get your hands on a pair.

I also Love my Melo 1's but agree, I could do without the Melo tongue logo.  The gold material on the toe box creases worse than any other pair of shoes i've owned Being a AJ1 person, I usually welcome any creases but the Melo toe box looks like *** after they've been worn.
