Clippers re-design is obviously a 'we have to change something' type of re-design... I guess it went with their image on the court also, but it might be time to bring back some history! The old logo had some depth at least.
Space Jam sequel!! No way... Why can't they just come up with another name... There will only ever be one Space Jam... It's these movies that have to be reinvented... Like Ghostbusters... Why!!!
Some discussion in another forum had me thinking of past NBA logos and the apparent designs that have failed, or been successful. Some are successful given a new player, new movement, new ownership etc. What stories do we know of these logos and what they meant for their respective teams?
You are right my man, there is nothing that really says Houston "we have a problem" as everyone has to beat everyone now anyway!
Yes, Warriors did give up a lot of points to a lot of teams and I guess Houston does offer some depth in it's rotations, but would that be enough?
Imagine for one...
How many people see Houston winning a game? I mean Harden is an offensive weapon but it's defense you want to play against the Warriors and I just don't see it. For mine a straight sweep perhaps for the Warriors in the first round?
I'd have to agree. Wouldn't it be interesting for the NBA if they introduced a relegation/promotion for teams that finish with certain low records. Instead the league allows tanking and actually rewards these teams with lottery picks. I'm not saying the Bulls are tanking... as we always either...
What the Bulls recruiters see in players is quite puzzling. Being a Bulls fan for quite some time I see opposing teams and players more physical and with more direction. Take for example someone like Justin Holiday (just as an example) or lets maybe mention E'Twaun Moore. These two players (to...
Thoughts continue on the debate and I figured I'd add some more for discussion:
Here are 5 reasons why the 2016 Warriors wouldn't beat the 1996 Bulls:
5. Steve Kerr vs Steve Kerr
Steve Kerr the player averaged 8 pts, 2 reb and 2 ast per game through the five years of service in Chicago and...
So we've got a tie... Golden State defeating San Antonio (in their house) has them on the verge of a 73 win season. One home game remains between them and the record!
So currently sitting at 71-9 the Golden State Warriors have pretty much guaranteed they will at worst tie the 1995-96 Bulls 72-10 season, perhaps going one better?
The Warriors are about to set an NBA record for most victories in a single season and it brings up the debate of who really was the...
