The reality is, there are still a LOT of improvement/changes to be made on every single damn model, if we're talking about getting them all closer to OGs. Some are already better than others, including the recent IIIs and suddenly the IVs. But if you actually put them side by side with OGs...
Probably the same dopes who think the crap XIs we got for so long look better than the new ones. These people have no eye for design, it’s that simple
I can't vouch for that place but a quick bit of Googling suggests it is legit. It's a sports store in Florida with several physical locations. There is a customer service phone number and email address. Unless these guys are blatantly trafficking counterfeit goods, which is pretty risky for a...
But the delivery guy swears he was a Bulls fan and made sure the pizza wasn't tampered with, and says Grover is delusional

Exactly. That was the entire reason I ever started doubling or tripling on certain shoes. Doubling still makes sense to me for certain models, especially (for me) something like Air Trainer 1s, because I tend to wear those with no special considerations given, and I have gone through a lot of...
I may just sell my muslin OWs now that I know these are coming back. I love the OWs but I literally never wear them, I think I wore them around the house for two hours one night when I got them and haven't put them on since
Totally agree, but I also care a lot about the finish/color. The correct material just looks like it's dark gray when it's not reflecting light, which I have always thought looked amazing going all the way back to my OGs. Now it looks like a weird shiny satin chrome or something even when...
Worst case, if a 3M Scotchlite material is no longer available to replicate the precise color and finish of the tongue, the very least they can do is thin the damn things out. The way they've been making them, the tongues are like 2 or more times puffier than they should be.
This right here in my opinion is a key point, and it goes back to the early 2000s. I've said this before: Back then, the retro thing was in its early, early days. You had collectors and people on NT and maybe a couple other "social" internet sites that still had OGs. As the "old shoe" thing...
This article from today touches on the bigger pic at Nike and how it’s depending too much on retros. Doesn’t specifically mention Jordans but it does note a reduction in AF1 volume to make way for new shoes...
Dude, the kids' version of the Fundamentals should've been the adult high version. I love the one that released for us grown ups, but the kids' "low" colorblocking is on another level for a white/black/red Air Jordan.
The biggest difference with these shoes back then compared to now in terms of quality is that a lot of the materials felt better and of course the shoes themselves felt better underfoot because they used softer foams and were intended for people to play in. Today's actual BUILD quality is much...
