That Lakers bench is broke as hell, jesus  Denver begging to get blown out and LA does not have the firepower

In the first 5 minutes Nuggets had 3 turnovers and 2 Jokic fouls  That was the difference in the quarter

Very alarming that he couldn’t return. Could swing the series. Precious is just 6’8”. Sims is a little bigger but inexperienced & still undersized in that matchup. If Mitch isn’t moving properly you gotta sit him. Would give him 5 days off before G5.

2 days of rest will be huge for Mitchell Robinson’s availability. He had 7 boards in 12 mins. Assuming Embiid doesn’t shoot 21 free throws again, I imagine there will be a lot more bricks in G4.

Philly going into the prevent offense way too early. They’re not doing anything until 14, 13 seconds or less on the clock

That Philly 3rd quarter was some of the best jump shooting of the entire season from any team  That was insane

It’s a delicate balance. They take a hit offensively with Nance. Val -7, Nance -6  This is where they obviously miss Zion. Val the only guy who will apply paint pressure. Ingram can get Giddey or one of the smaller guards on a switch and get to the rim but he doesn’t play like that

Val touches it literally every time down or you gotta sit him  it’s black & white

SEVENTY pound difference between him & Val. I don’t know why Willie Green needed to waste an entire 48 minutes to realize what the point of emphasis should be.

Overthinking  And its not like Boston has a bunch of traffic cones and Miami has a bunch of elite slashers. I don’t understand why Mazz would even chance it  Just play traditional, non-exaggerated, non-gimmicky defense. Looking ahead to 2nd round & beyond when the margin of error is...

These guys every single year man  If Mazzulla just concedes open 3s again, Miami will definitely hit 20+ in at least one of the home games

Had this clipped up to post but got distracted when I said he could barely move and @ballinsam23 disagreed and just pointed to the box score  His current output is a testament to his jumper. Philly has to win the turnover battle because they’re going to get hammered on the glass. Mitch...

Very tough defense. Wolves will only double Durant if he gets one of the point guards on the switch and Phoenix/Durant don’t hunt mismatches like that. Beal has been much better on the ball than Book but he concedes point duties to Book when they share the floor. Biggest thing is they’re...

Clips/Mavs is an iso competition, Mavs won and will win like that. The Clippers have a skilled 7 footer who puts all Dallas’ centers in the rim, but they still want to play 1 on 1  They likely win last night if Kawhi sits again. If Luka isn’t playing Zu off the floor, he needs touches.

Criticizing a guy who can barely move? You can count on 1 hand how many times he had two feet in the paint offensively the entire 2nd half. That's how you know he’s hurting. But yes, Mitch and Hartenstein are the last two guys you wanna see if you’re having mobility issues. In a low...

Underrated loss for them this year. Compared to the other guards, he brings (significantly) more value defensively and has a comparable 3 ball so he would’ve inevitably taken over more of the guard mins and the team would be better for it. Unfortunately for him the injuries + rehab took 90% of...
