Yeah I have a feeling they initially planned to use a full length zoom air insole (like Flightposite 3's) and to have that little rectangular zoom air unit. So it would be "double-stacked" zoom in the heel. But they cheaped out at the last minute. My hunch is that Penny's have zoom air insoles...

I tried on the Binary Blues the other day and I was PISSEDD. Why the EFFF is nike so cheap not to include zoom air in a $200 shoe?!? The cushioning felt super flat and stiff. Foamposites are awesome cuz they always have really responsive cushioning.

No what you did is 100% correct. EVEN if the seller is legit, you aren't supposed to do what he's asking and you definitely won't be protected. If he is legit, he will accept payment for the shoe and will ship it and give you tracking info. That's the only way Ebay/Paypal will protect you.
