I wasn't trying to address his argument... I asked for opinions and I got his which he is entitled to, I don't agree with everything he has to say nor do I have too, I acknowledged what I do agree with then moved on to my comment... I did say "on another note" and those observations were based...

See that's the thing, I am really happy with him and it's just recently this has even started bothering me.... it's not so much material things I'm talking about, I said flowers in my post as an example but I also mean stupid little things like text/tell me "I love you" randomly or other cheesy...
