its more on how you approach solving the problem. I would pull the image, smallest useable size, twitter gives you 3 normally. Analyze the image for the bounding box, cut down on the area to scan for text. Return an array of areas to scan, rank the results... You can do all this within a few...
You guys do realize a computer would still calculate this much faster than a human. Its more about finding a way to make the program run into variables that it was not designed to handle or causes confusion during parsing. A tweet is a predefined format/api call, so the app knows what to expect...
machine learning... it's possible. The hand writing makes the app work harder, in terms of running algorithms that compare against known character styles. The "styles" definitions can be updated to take in account modifications that successfully tricked the system. As j23 mentioned, checking...
I guess that depends on the user. The current approach is less accessible, but I doubt those I'm referring to were among those camping out. Just something that is a issue I would like to address on more of my projects. Text to speech, text size change... Whatever I can do to make the content...
Given you can translate text, there is nothing stopping a program from being created that is smart enough to learn and adapt. Hand written wouldn't matter much, unless the text is illegible. Adding some salt/distortion helps, but a good openCV program can learn to adapt and solve the capturing...
Unfortunately there is a way to automate this new system. Finding the text is fairly easy, the bounding box, there are a few ways to locate that. Not something I would create, but don't be surprised when the bots reappear(slowly).
My guess, the next system will require a login to the Nike...
Cool, got me and my 1 year old a pair. I used my CC on my pair and tested PayPal with his, no problems. Starting to wonder if the price is the reason PayPal is so often rejected on release days. Same product purchased X number of times in a small window of time?
I managed to come up on 3 pairs. I was going to flip a pair, but I decided to give a pair to my uncle. He had every pair of the OG Jordans and introduced me to them with the 4s back in grade school.
He stopped buying them years ago, I guess its fitting for me to give him his last pair.
Can anyone name this shoe? This is a screen grab from a college project I made back in 2001/2002 I think. The shoe was white and somewhat metallic navy blue with an air sole. I thought this was a Triax, but searches yield no results so far.
Whatever it is, I hope these come back again.
I remember my first pair clearly. My uncle was a true Jordan fan back in the 80's in Cleveland, OH. He had the MJ posters on the walls and all the shoes. I was in the 4th grade and I got the white or black IV's, I don't remember which pair I had first. I also recall some of the older kids at...
