Part of me wants to play FFVII remake on launch, given the almost universal high praise it’s receiving...but another part of me would love to wait for PS5, since it’ll probably look even better, and cut out some of the long loads that have been reported.
Agree. There are too many potential buyers who either can't or won't buy digital. It may only be 25-30% of the purchases, but that's still several million units the company would be sacrificing. And SIE is just one portion of a much larger Sony, who I'm sure, already has projections about how...
Nioh 2 is great, and combat is very good. Sekiro, though, is god tier when it comes to game play.
It’s interesting how much inspiration the devs took from From Soft. I just encountered an enemy whose head explodes into a snake which seems to be lifted almost wholesale from Bloodborne.
that game’s combat is beyond comparison in my eyes...No other game has captured the feeling of two swordsmen locked in a tiresome duel in quite the same way.
Word. At this point in time, console specs are like NBA advanced analytics...Borderline incomprehensible to the lay person, so you gotta just either judge for yourself via the eye test or trust a reputable source to give you an unbiased comparo
Truth be told, these performance wars don't even matter that much. As much as people love to tout their favorite systems specs, the console war is ultimately decided by two things....Console price and Triple-A exclusives.
Sony might be in trouble if Microsoft does launch two systems. The lower...
Nioh 2 peeps...how many points are you putting into stamina early on? I got to Enenra and realized I was running out of Stamina fairly quickly even with doing shorter combos and single slashes. Just run evasion and dodging was depleting my stamina bar in short order.
Yea, I platinum'd Sekiro. For me personally, it had problems. Namely, retreading the castle path multiple times as a necessity. But game play wise, It's probably the best of breed for all Soulsborne games. The combat it just so polished and tight. And you are right: I did love it as a Fromsoft...
Yea, I played through it and loved it, but it seems that they might have gone even deeper with the systems.
Also, I didn’t love the loot system. To be clear, I’m not saying it was bad...but that’s just not what I come to that game for. I know a lot of people love the gear grind and upgrading...
Just preordered Nioh 2. I’ve been not-so-patiently waiting for something to scratch the Soulsborne itch this year.
I’m excited to dive in and hope that they didn’t OD with too many systems/elements in the fight mechanics. Reviews make it sound a little daunting.
Me and my gf of 11 years also keep separate accounts. It works for us because we both have the same career and make approximately the same salary, so we just split mortgage and all other bills evenly and then whatever's left we keep in separate accounts.
I don't think it can work for all...
I’d agree. I pursued it aggressively last year, opening 2 new cards and 2 bank accounts for the sign up bonuses. I probably made about $1000, but it was kind of a bother...especially the bank accounts since I had to change the direct deposit at work multiple times to reach the threshold...
Jedi Fallen Order was such a great game. Nit-picking, but if they could've just tightened up the precision of combat versus non-boss enemies it and made deep exploration more meaningful than just the acquisition of cosmetic items it could've been a 10/10.
Reading my old post, I still feel the same. The older me probably would've softened my tone a bit to not come across so abrasive and dismissive of those advocating for free , but I still stand by what I wrote then. Networks cost money, as does cloud storage, and security.
There's a really good...
