Jordans turned basketball sneakers into casual sneakers. Yes, it might be awkward wearing stuff like hyperflight or Lebron 16s but that's not the case for Jordans. You're a Jordan 1 guy now. Well, that was the first Jordan basketball shoes and you wear them casually now. I also personally don't...
I'm not a fan of these photoshop CWs either. When you overuse the same CWs, we get used to it, sick of it and tired of it. They would eventually feel less special and unique. That's just a human nature. Did they miss out the AJ3 BC so that they could be satisfied with these? Just because AJ3BC...
The shoe was designed with the system in mind. It was built around the system. Had they used laces, I think we would be seeing a completely different shoe.
As the other user pointed out, those models have big logos too and those aren't just some random models. I personally prefer subtle logos (like the AJ Xiii, my personal favorite) just like you but the logo (Nike logo too) itself is cool-looking imo so I don't get why all of a sudden, it ticks...

It seems like GH simply made sure JB was producing garbage low quality retros with weird changes here and there and no Nike Air whatsoever to the public so that he could be happy with his own collection and earn some money with it. He says he cares about OG collectors.. yeah right. The problem...
Some things I don't get:
1. Why did JB decide to let him back in when the brand under his supervision received so much backlash and Nike retos were horrendous because of him?
2. Why does GH who's too stubborn and just flat out ignorant to see the general public's demand have so much control over...
I personally like that swoosh simply because it gives a vintage look. Back in the days, the logo wasn't cut meticulously and it brings back memories. Pretty sure they did it on purpose for that reason
