ESPN wants the Yanks to get Degrom. This is the era of all star regular season teams. Yanks fans salivating over Degrom. Mets need to keep Degrom and Thor. Mets brass knew they were going to have to pay these guys eventually, they should be ready.

QFT.
We should be able to offer DeGrom a decent contract and we can wait another 2 seasons to sign Thor. Cespedes is the only large contract we have and we should be getting some of that $ back given he'll be out for a long time if/when he gets this surgery on his feet.

Im furious that Nimmo is batting 7th. We're not going to win tonight. Nimmo should be lead off, hasnt he proven that already? Rosario isnt ready.
 
Rosario and Smith need to play in the Arizona Fall League. Should be mandatory. Need as many reps as possible.
 
Mets and Cespedes announced today he is getting surgery for both his heels and will be out 8-10 months.

The Wilpons do get more than half his salary back but they probably wont use it on the team.

The fact that they admitted what we knew is infuriating. Carig and Law among other national writers are ringing the alarm on the Wilpons. Need Rosenthal to join the club. This is pure negligence. They knew about Cespedes' heel in 2015. They could have had the surgery done in September when he was shut down.

Now more than ever, its clear the Wilpons are doing a terrible job. This past off-season they hired a new Manager, Training staff and all that. The one constant is the Wilpons.

Tonights lineup:
Rosario SS
Cabrera 2B
Conforto LF
Flores 1B
Nimmo CF
Bautista RF
McNeil 3B
Mesoraco C
Matz LHP

I still dont like Nimmo batting anywhere under 3rd in the lineup. He's good such good plate discipline.

We just did last winter. lololol.

The problem isnt the Mgmt team, its the owners who are behind the scenes controlling the Mgmt team.

Think about it, we got a whole new medical staff and coaches.

The problem is the Wilpons, theyre similar to James Dolan.
 
^ Yea that is true, NY needs to put pressure on the Wilpons and Dolan, both need to just sell the teams and go live their best lives
