I don’t know what they are talking about. This current release of tennis clothes they listed as being inspired by the 90’s and obviously it was the 80’s. You can obviously see the similarity with that recent post I made. It’s as if someone at Nike never watched him play or the styles and patterns they used to use.
That purple jacket they say is inspired by the 90’s because he wore purple once? Wow they can do so much better.

That color is very close to the green color of the Air Challenge Huarache. My favorite colorway of them. I still have my pair and surprisingly wearable!!

Does anyone if the 2016 Lava Air Tech Challenge 2's have the glossy/shiny paint like the 2014's or is it flat/matte like the 2008's?

Perfect. Matte, not as much as 2008s but not glossy and color is more consistant. Get them for the white leather. and good luck, all I see atm is sz 7 and a 9.

Got them for retail, still wondering how many of them nike released but worth every buck, wishing I had doubled up on them bc sold 2xDS lava 2014 since. "Sneaker of the year"!

I passed up on so many different colorways at great prices being stubborn on only keeping original colorways. Now I'm trying to find anything for the low that I can wear daily. My 2014 hot lava pair is getting too beat and can't find any 2016 pairs

Nice where did you find them was it recently? I have my pairs from 08 and 14 so skipped these but I regret it. I hope Nike re-releases the lavas soon but it could be a long time until they do but who knows.

They did but I only saw them on a few overseas sites. They need to release the 1’s this year for the anniversary!
