Google would've been so much faster than coming here and waiting for a reply, but I woke up to "Back To Back" and am now laying in bed cheesing, so I'll catch you up
1. Meek randomly hopped on Twitter one night last week and put it out there that Drake doesn't write his rhymes (specifically referring to a reference track done by a Quentin Miller for Drake's verse on R.I.C.O), and that that's why he didn't tweet about his album or some **** because he knew that Meek found out..
2. Meek timed this horribly, because the second episode of Drake's OVOSound Radio show on Apple's Beats1 station was like two days later (Saturday), and on the show, Drake dropped "Charged Up", a track lightly jabbing Meek. No one expected this ___ to reply, much less be the first one to take it to the actual booth; but he was.
3. Meek tweeted about it, talked about it a bit at a tour stop (he's an act on Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint tour) or two, and has put out zero responses to date.
4. Funkmaster Flex decided to wedge himself in between things and claimed to first have more Quentin Miller reference tracks (which he supposedly can't put out because Drake's team took legal action), and them claimed to have a Meek Mill response (just a complete lie it seems ) People now hate Flex's guts and a petition started 2 days ago is now over 9,000 deep to get him fired.
5. The rest of Hot 97 seems to have randomly threw themselves in the mix as well, but I don't know what all that **** is about.
6ix. Drake drops another response today that only insomniacs and ___s who work the night shift were awake to catch called "Back To Back", throwing slightly harder jabs and clowning the fact that a singing ___ made his way to the booth to not respond once but twice before big bad Meek Mill can even put a song out with a subliminal towards him on it. The internet is collectively laughing at him and Philadelphia has taken collateral damage as a result
