That sounds like a terrible idea.
Charlie Strong is Upset at the Louisville Media, So He’s Banned Them
College Football, Media Gossip/MusingsJason McIntyreApril 10th. 2012, 1:30pm
Charlie Strong, Louisville’s football coach, has banned the local media from covering the team. It’s unclear if this is a temporary thing, or whether Strong will follow though on his ban throughout the season.
Why the ban? According to Adam Lefkoe, an ESPN radio host in Louisville, Strong is perturbed the local media went gaga for Rick Pitino’s Louisville Cardinals making a run to the Final 4. The basketball team hogged all the media coverage and apparently, Strong thinks the spotlight should have been on the football team during Spring practice. (You can read a little more on the subject here.)
Hey Charlie, quick question – when Billy Donovan’s Gators were winning back-to-back titles in Gainesville during the Tim Tebow era, did Urban Meyer ever try to pull a stunt like this?
It’s a very curious move by Strong, who actually has a formidable team this season. They’ve gone to two bowl games in a row, and are in line for a BCS berth this season (especially with West Virginia off to the Big 12). The defense could be Top 10 in the country (don’t laugh) and QB Teddy Bridgewater will be the best at his position in the Big East (not saying much, I know). The biggest key to a 10 or 11 win season is a soft schedule. If they beat UNC …
All I saw is that he's got a high top fade. I'll bet money we end up with Nkemdiche's teammates and he goes to the SEC, Nick Saban probably offered his girl an SL convertible and a pink iPhone.Originally Posted by dreClark
Over Two-Month Period, Bobby Petrino Exchanged 200 Messages With Former "Miss Motorcycle Mania" Bikini Model
Deadspin.com
The process of parsing Bobby Petrino's phone records continues, and another interesting number has popped up on our radar. In fits and starts, Petrino exchanged nearly two hundred text and picture messages with a Little Rock cell phone registered to one Alison Melder, whose LinkedIn profile lists her as a senate assistant with the Republican Party of Arkansas.
Melder, 26, graduated from Arkansas-Little Rock with a degree in political science and has worked with the Young Republicans as well as the state GOP; she also worked on Jim Keet's gubernatorial campaign in 2010. (On Twitter, her bio reads "Go Lakers, Go Hogs, and Go GOP.) But her political work is hardly the first thing that comes up when you search for her name: she did a spot of modeling, at least a few years back. One modeling profile she created four years ago contains a portfolio of bikini and lingerie images, and she seems to be a favorite of The Dirty. She also lists herself as winner of the 2008 Miss Bikini USA and Miss Motorcycle Mania competitions.
Melder's phone number is now disconnected, but in September, October, and November, she and Petrino exchanged at least 200 messages (we're still counting), at all hours of the day. There were no phone calls. The messages begin appearing on Sept. 12, the first day for which phone records are available. They continue until Nov. 6.
There were seven picture messages sent, all from Melder to Petrino.
It's not clear what Melder's connection to Petrino is. His voter registration shows he's not officially affiliated with any party, and there's no record of any campaign contributions. We've reached out to Melder and we'll update if we hear back.
Deadspin has their team all over his phone recordsDude is about to be the next Tiger Woods by the time they get done
Spurrier disappointed UGA game moved to Oct because "you could always count on them having 2 or 3 key players suspended.

I was ok with the 20K, but a voided contract, no vag is worth that much.

@ almost like
He clearly didn't care and the AD even said Petrino thought he was bigger than the program.
