Well he essentially is on the same deal he was last year so can't say it's an overpay if he still puts up the same numbers.
As for JC he was going to get that deal or slightly more anyway one way or another just the structure is more beneficial to him now.

he's a legit player and a very productive player when he plays. obviously, there are risks and red flags with his injury, but that's the same with beal as well

Parsons is not as good as the numbers he put up in Dallas. Also needs the ball in his hands to be effective and doubt he gets it in Memphis. Plays little defense but somehow has the rep of a defender. He's one of those players that's only good as a number 1 option but not good enough to be a #1 option
