I’m 50/50 on Tobi staying but I’m 80/20 on Jimmy staying.

One thing that does make me a lil more confident is the fact we drafted essentially a specialist in Thybulle. And then the late second rounder we drafted is also a specialist.

If we do keep Jimmy and Tobias then whoever is the 5th person in the lineup on the floor basically is going to be asked to just spot up and defend.

The only way for it to happen though is for them to send us Eric Gordon and a couple first round picks then move Capela, Tucker, Nene and anybody else on the roster besides Harden and CP3. I just have no idea why this is even an attractive thing for the Rockets at all considering Jimmy is a terrible fit next to two other dudes who need the ball for a long period of time to be effective.

Elton better come out of free agency with a really ****ing good backup to Embiid or else trading this dude for literally nothing was one of the dumbest moves he could have made. He also better pray Carsen Edwards doesn’t turn into IT Part 2 for the Celtics.

I think too many people don’t realize that our front office is being ran by all the same people minus the Colangelos.

I’d do it. Send us Gordon, Capela and 2 unprotected 1st’s. Then flip Capela tonBrookkyn for D’angelo Russell

Not that I don’t like Jimmy but I’m more thinking for the future. Getting some 1st rounders to replenish our assets or trade them for another piece etc

I don’t particularly value Tobias very heavily tbh

I’d rather sign Bobby portis and save money than sign Tobias.

I won't lose sleep if we lose Tobias BUT I remember how stagnant our offence was before he arrived.

Tobias's loss means that Ben will have to step it up as a scorer in a more consistent basis. I do question the impact of why everyone is asking him to get a mid-range game (the most inefficient shot in basketball), I'd much rather he focuses on corner 3s that alone can take him out of the dunker spot and stretch out the defence.

I also don't understand the rumours behind the Ross signing. We need a PG and a C, we don't need more wings.

I wanted the team to run it back with most of the same players but if we can’t a Ben/JJ/Richardson/Tobi/Joel lineup is good and our bench could be really solid. I want no parts of Al Horford though.

A line up of Ben-JRich-Thybulle/Zhaire-Horford-Embiid is clamp city. And bring back JJ/Scott to the bench and we solid with a younger core sans Horford
