His best days are behind him. This year was his worst year in regards to ERA but his WHIP was his 3rd best of his non-prime years. I get the feeling his production is going to be a lot worse with him now being in a hitters park instead of the pitcher friendly confines of Oracle Park. But since it’s Arizona there won’t be a lot of scrutiny headed in his direction.

Still, as a Giants fan I am livid. Bum’s contract is far more reasonable than the contract that was given to Samardzija in 2015.

Ryu to Blue Jays doesn't make sense to me for Toronto. Investing some decent $ into a 32 year old, often injured pitcher in a division where they are in all reality, the fourth best of five teams.
