Lol nobody said Paul George isn’t a great player. There was a time when he was being compared to Kevin Durant...and thought to be a much better player than Kawhi Leonard.

When in reality, he was closer to Gordon Hayward. That’s where the Black Gordon Hayward thing came from. I coined that (), and people thought I was nuts, to consider they were the same level of players.

Those guys still deserve the contracts they get. Paul George is, and has always been closer to Gordon Hayward than he was Kevin Durant. And that’s the point.

You should go back and read that thread. At least from my standpoint the point was that Gordon Hayward was on Paul Georges level as a player, and he was back then.

CERTAIN people tried to sell the fantasy that Paul Goerge was a top 5/10 player in the league and was better than people who he had no business being compared to.
