2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

Remember when Lamarcus Aldridge was the “top” free agent one summer and he had teams running round like an NBA version of “Flavor of Love” ? Great offseason comedy

Don’t think Denver would get enough back for Porter Jr. in the trade BS mentioned on his new podcast.

Dinwiddie, Shamet, Jarrett Allen, two Brooklyn firsts for Porter Jr. (so Brooklyn has an asset to flip to Houston in a Harden trade)... granted MPJ didn’t play well in the WCF, and it’s not a terrible hypothetical at all, but, just don’t see the Nuggets actually pulling that trigger esp. when there’s nothing forcing them into a trade like that.

holy ****, if #alllivesmatter MPJ is houston's biggest return in exchange for giving up harden, someone would need to be arrested for criminal negligence

for MJ, yes...but MPJ

Never liked the new T'Wolves jerseys, look like cheap WNBA jerseys.

They shoulda stuck to these.

Take WOLVES from the rookie joints, black jersey, silver font, white border & updated tree piping.

Home jersey white with green font. Blue up there the alternate with tree trim.

I want a DRose throwback jersey now.

Big if true

Bron forgot to mention him on that show with RJ so he throwing him a bone *pause*

****** must be expecting MPJ to be an all star next season cause this seems like a wild reach.

TBH the best thing for this Wiz season might be to let Russ go crazy, make it look like he’s “back” then flip yo to a desperate team in the offseason...Get outta 2 crazy Max deals in under a year :pimp:
This is exactly why they did it  They ultimately want to remove Wall’s salary from the cap & start over. They don’t know if hes still a star, or if he is they don’t know if he can stay on the court. So there’s a risk that he shows that he’s even more of a dead asset when the season starts.

So you flip him for another bad contract but at least this guy has a better chance of being All-NBA, then you can hopefully flip that guy for a bunch of expirings. Mission accomplished.

You don’t see DENVER pulling that trigger? Brooklyn would hang up the phone if Denver called them about that

After taxes, wife’s cut, agent fees, and family hitting him up, Malik will have about $5 mil to himself. Ouch.
