I have to read up on how to do it on my gf's phone, since I'm a Verizon user. Is there a workaround, or have they gotten strict?

I did that last year and within 2 days my sister got an email that her account was locked and couldn't access MLB.tv because a non T-Mobile suscriber logged in, I was with Verizon at the time
