I don’t like the pick, but I believe he can sign a deal which allows him to play football for sometime. Obviously a huge risk but I don’t think him playing football this year means he can’t be part of the A’s organization still.

Interesting. I always thought one had to choose. Maybe thats just if they play the same sport? You probably know more than I do as I havent researched this at all. I just assumed him choosing to play QB meant his rights were renounced.
