Lol just don't keep all of them on you at once.
This sounds great, but I'm hesitant to hold down 4 cards.
Forgot to say that my starting limit was 5.5K and I requested a few CLIs my limit is not 10.5K.

Question: I checked my report and score through the experian website and im at 695 (from like 5someting :x ) and no negative info on my accounts (no late payments, nothing in collections). Would I be able to get approved for the Discover IT card? I was denied a while back because of my low score and a bill in collections. Or will they have me blacklisted? I just wanna flourish with these cashback deals yall capitalizing on :\
Didn't you get approved under me? Could of sworn we talked via pm
I got denied about 6 months ago with the IT. tried again 2 months ago and got approved. I think it's worth a shot
Word I'll probably try again then. One more question. How many (or how frequent) inquiries are too much? Just had an inquiry for my new apt in June and one to finance some furniture this week. Should I hold off for a while till I apply for the card?
Damn I just got the IT card last week didn't know about the referrals. On the other hand Amazon Prime card is a godsend 5% cash back on anything less than $149 and 24 month 0% interest for televisions. Waiting to see if any good deals come up on BF.
Do you mean a Roth IRA?This probably isn't the right thread but I trust that someone in here could someone help explain a Rothschild IRA to me? My brother was telling me to look into opening one, but I am a bit confused about them even after googling about them. I feel like if someone could personally explain it to me rather than basic definitions of them it would help me a lot. You can PM me if that makes it easier and stops this thread from going off topic.

You should probably ask this in the personal finance thread

Next bonus CB with Discover is on payments at gas stations. Shall be used often with my commute
Toys R Us accepts ApplePay...little man purchases about to be all with the phone
Hoping to cop a SurfacePro on sale during the holidays too with ApplePay (irony). Then top it off, the car shop I go to got some new pay terminal there and I can use ApplePay for mods and work done to my car. That's going to be a problem
Anyone have different cards for different expenses? I'm thinking about diversifying my portfolio of cards to meet the specific expenses of my life. Ideally, I want cards that will maximize my rewards in each expense area. To start, what are some cards y'all use for grocery shopping?
Cards that I currently have:
1. Discover -- oldest account 7+ years. My daily...use for all my non-cash purchases.
2. GAP Visa -- signed up for it, in store, only so I could get a nice discount on a purchase. Owned for 2+ years. Only used it once.
3. Amazon Visa -- signed up for it, so I could qualify for free shipping and massive discount off a recent purchase. Owned for about 3 months now and have never used it.

No 1 card is going to do it all for you. Every card has it's pros and cons, I think you can narrow it down to 2-3 cards though.
Or you can have like 20 just like those myfico guys
Welp just got my credit score for the month, I went from a 545 to a 584
It's rising faster than i anticipated. One thing that helped boost it was sign up for a Fingerhut Freshstart account. I got approved for $250 credit and bought something cheap (a used video game). They report to the credit bureaus which helps in addition to my Capital One Secured card
