By just putting in variables, you're doing exactly what my last post said: overanalyzing the equation and making it more difficult than it's supposed to be.
Just answer my question am I wrong?
Peep my response you failed at distribution

also peep this so you can understand what happens to parenthesis in distributive theorem

are you going to disprove the proof he just showed?

A + B = B + A (check)
(Xa + Xb) = X(a+b) (check)

Z ÷ (Xa + Xb) can we factor out the X yes we can ---> Z ÷ X(a+b)

This is wrong because x(a+b) doesnt equal (xa + xb) it equals (xa) + (xb)

you just wrote what I wrote bruh and yes it does.

You are forgetting that in PEMDAS multiplication and division are of the SAME RANK. So, since that is true, you go from left to right instead of just jumping straight into the multiplication.

No it doesnt. The difference between what you wrote is implying that it is all one term when it is not they become 2 separate terms when you distribute.

as seen here

http://www.algebrahelp.co...ing/distribution/pg2.htm

the parenthesis HAS to go.
