I actually know a girl who grew up with him. Apparently his mom ran something of a day care out there in Stone Mountain and she was one of the kids that was being taken care of. Tripped me out when she told me the stories and always referred to him as Donald since most people, myself included, call him Childish Gambino. Was supposed to have gotten free tickets to that show he did with outkast a few years back but her and I fell out.

The dude he has directing the first two episodes has a lot of really creative stuff under his belt including a ton of Gambino videos (Sweatpants probably being my favorite).

Those overhead shots are so dope. Wonder if that's going to be a motif they play with. The trailer looked dope...visuals included.

In for this show. Never watched community and only like some of his raps but for some reason I'm drawn to this series. BTW, first episode leaked so I need to watch it sometime this week.
