A lot of that stiffness could be from lack of blood flow to the area. I'd recommend concentrating on things that stimulate increased blood flow the area, ie. massage therapy, bfst, ultrasound.+1 for back problems. Tried those exercises for about two weeks and they did not help.
Herniated disc at l4. Limited flexibility. Always feel stiff. Sometimes I wake up with something off and can't really walk good for a week. Something I've had to accept will be with me forever.
i had a doc like that, he said i might "have to alter my lifestyle" to limit the pain, instead of being open to a surgical option...ive had sciatica, took 1.5 years of convincing my doctor to get an mri after countless physical therapy, pain meds and other solutions........caused by degenerative disc on my l4/l5 had to get surgery (laminectomy &disectomy)
Surgery should be the LAST option!
Surgery should be the LAST option!
Agreed. I think stretching and strengthening is the best way to return normal function. However, if it's a big structural problem, sometimes surgery is the only way to correct it.
Also, you got films from a chiro? Are they even trained in reading them?
that sciatica is no joke bros
+1 for lower back pain. try a whirlpool/spa with jets for an hour or so... will help loosen muscle spasms
