Not sure if you’re serious but ownership of samples (or even old PEs, etc.) can vary. For example, Nike probably has a bunch of Air Yeezy samples in their archives that they own. I’m not 100% sure about the ownership history of this pair but it’s possible that Nike or Ye moved them years ago (for charity or otherwise) and they ended up switching hands enough that they ended up on this auction site.

According to Jacques Slade, Nike give Kanye this pair to wear for the Grammys but had to return them as soon as the event was over.

haha so it definitely was someone at Nike who initially sold this pair. I’m wondering why they wouldn’t keep shoes like this in their archives, for historical purposes, if nothing else. They had the OG Mags used in filming BTTF2 back in the late 80s.
